Attribute properties

The attribute properties allow you to modify its name and the text definition.

The attribute properties are displayed in the Properties dockable panel.

General

Enter the attribute name and its description.

The attribute name is important. SOLIDWORKS Electrical uses the attribute name to propagate electrical project data to the inserted attribute. If the name is not recognized by the software, the information will not be displayed.

Geometry

This section lets you enter the text settings. These will be used upon the attribute insertion.
