Managing revision attributes

Revision attributes are displayed in the modification grid of the title blocks and they are managed in the title block editor.

Menu: Edit title block > Modify revision index

Contextual menu of a revision attribute: Modify revision index

Each revision attribute has an index number that can be positive (Absolute mode) or negative (Relative mode).

Marking mode

Relative: The index number is calculated from the current revision. The index number "-0" displays the current revision index. The "-1" displays the previous revision index.

For example in 0AB mode, if the current revision is "E = sixth index", the "-2" index number propagates the revision index "C = fourth index" (6-2=4).

A configuration setting allows you to select the position of revision index:

- On the bottom of the modification grid of the drawing

- According to the position of the revision attributes

Absolute: The index number corresponds to the revision index. The index number "0" corresponds to the first revision index, the index number "1" corresponds to the second revision index. To display a revision index in the drawing, you must have its corresponding attribute inserted into the modification grid of the title block.

Index: In Absolute mode, it displays only negative values. In Relative mode, it displays positive values. The value corresponds to the index number you want, according to the selected mode.
