Insert attribute

Symbol, 2D footprint, and title block attributes propagate information stored in the database. A specific interface allows you to select them and insert them in the graphical area.

Menu: Edit symbol > Insert attribute

Menu: Edit title block > Insert attribute

When you launch the command, a dialog box lists the available attributes.

Attributes already present in the symbol or title block are shown in blue.

1.     Select the checkboxes next to the listed attributes to make them available for insertion into the symbol or the title block.

2.     Click on OK to close the dialog box and display the attribute insertion dockable panel.

This panel lets you change settings (such as font and height) applied to the attributes prior to placement.
