SOLIDWORKS Electrical 3D - Exercise #06

This exercise allows you to route the cables in the 3D layout. It is based on a previous one, if you did not complete the Exercise #04, you can download the electrical project file. Unarchive it in SOLIDWORKS Electrical.

1. Open the Pump Unit assembly.

2. Launch the cable routing.

SOLIDWORKS Electrical 3D menu: Route cables

3. Select the 3Dsketch route mode in the dockable panel.

4. After checking, you can launch SOLIDWORKS routing.

 

SOLIDWORKS routing can take time, and when executing routing for the first time, it's best to use the 3DSketch Route mode to check visually that the cables are being routed correctly.

Modify the routing parameters according to the routing paths. If cables are not routed, you can check the Routing analysis option to show the reasons.
