Management dialog boxes configuration

Whichever Management dialog box you open, all of the features described below are common to all the Management dialog boxes, differing only in content.

Configuration

Symbol management: Configuration

Title block management: Configuration

2D footprint management: Configuration

Macro management: Configuration

A dialog box opens, allowing you to enter the different configuration parameters for the Management dialog boxes display.

List mode

The left-hand part of the dialog box allows you to select the columns to be displayed in List mode.

Thumbnail mode

Thumbnail size: Enter the dimensions of the thumbnail.

Space between 2 thumbnails: Enter the distances separating the thumbnails in width and height. The designation or name displayed on the thumbnail will be displayed in this area. Remember to leave enough room between two lines of thumbnails.

Text under thumbnails: Select the type of text you want to see displayed.

Display thumbnail: If you do not want to see the properties displayed (used to propagate the data), check the box.

Thumbnail mode / List mode

Symbol management: List mode / Thumbnail mode

Title block management: List mode / Thumbnail mode

2D footprint management: List mode / Thumbnail mode

Macro management: List mode / Thumbnail mode

List mode: Displays the data in a list. Right-clicking the column headers allows you to select the columns to be displayed. Left-clicking the column header allows you to sort the column.

Thumbnail mode: Displays the data in a graphical form.

In both modes, a contextual menu allows you to access the various features available for the element.

Display sub-class content

The elements generated in the library have criteria that can be used to classify them (in the left-hand area, see the Classification tab). When a class is selected in the tree structure list, the right-hand list is simplified to display only the elements corresponding to the selected class.

If you check the Display sub-classes content box, the dialog box also displays the elements contained in the sub-levels of the class.

Keep the dialog opened

When editing an element to modify its graphics, you can leave the Management dialog box open or close it.
