Insertion order management

This feature is common to the multiple insertion of connection labels and 2D footprints.

 

Dockable panel: Components > Insert multiple connection label for components

Dockable panel: Cabinet layout > Insert multiple 2D footprints

 

A dialog box opens listing the selected components. You can change the insertion order using the following icons.

 

Top: Moves the selected component to the top of the list.

Up: Moves up the selected component.

Down: Moves down the selected component.

Bottom: Moves the selected component to the bottom of the list.

Delete: Removes the selected component.

Select symbol: Allows you to select a specific symbol associated with the connection label or to change the 2D footprint symbol associated with the component.

 

1.     Click the insertion point of the first symbol in the graphics area.

 

The symbols are inserted in the drawing side by side.
