Graphic Data

Graphic data is stored in libraries that are grouped in the Management dialog boxes. Graphic data Managements (such as Symbol management) allow the editing of existing elements and the addition of new data.

There are several graphic data Management dialog boxes: Symbol management, (such as Scheme, Wiring Diagram, Terminals), 2D footprint management, Title block management, Macro management.

These Management dialog boxes have common features, such as importing DWG files or the ability to archive/unarchive files.

A specific environment is available to improve the graphical content of SOLIDWORKS Electrical. A graphical interface, several commands (Draw and Modify menus) allow you to create or modify symbols, title blocks, and 2D footprints.
