The Local Gravity boundary
condition specifies the orientation of the gravity vector during Warp analysis. This option
is available with the multi material overmolding injection process.
To open the Local
Gravity PropertyManager
- In the Plastics CommandManager, expand Boundary Conditions
, and click Local Gravity
.
Parameters
The local gravity you specify here overwrites the global gravity you
define in the Warp Parameters PropertyManager.
This accounts for possible rotation of the mold during the
multi
material overmolding process.

to the cavity domains to which you apply gravity. |

Downward Direction for Warp
|
Specifies the direction of the gravitational force in
the global coordinate system. Select one of the global coordinates
X-, Y-, or Z- to define the direction of the gravitational
