-AnnEntityScale

Use the -AnnEntityScale command to add and remove annotation scales for specified annotative entities. You can assign multiple scales to annotative entities. This is referred to as scale representations.

It is the command window variant of the AnnEntityScale command.

You can assign multiple scales to annotative entities. This is referred to as scale representations.

You can also remove scales that you find obsolete.

To assign scales to annotative entities:

  1. Type -AnnEntityScale at the command prompt.
  2. In the graphics area, specify annotative entities.
  3. Press Enter.
  4. Specify the Add option.

    Type ? to list the drawing scale list in the command history window to view valid scale names.

  5. Specify a scale name (for example, "1:4")
  6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 to add more annotation scales for specified entities.
  7. Press Enter.

To remove scales from annotative entities:

  1. Type -AnnEntityScale at the command prompt.
  2. In the graphics area, specify annotative entities.
  3. Press Enter.
  4. Specify the Remove option.

    Type ? to list the drawing scale list in the command history window to view valid scale names.

  5. Specify a scale name (for example, "1:4")
  6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 to remove more annotation scales from specified entities.
  7. Press Enter.

  Note: You can use the -AnnEntityScale command only in the Model tab or in the Model workspaces on layout Sheets.
