-Table
Use the -Table command to create a table in a drawing.
It is the command window variant of the Table command.
To create tables:
- Type -Table at the command prompt.
- Specify the number of columns of the table or specify the Auto option to let the system define the number of columns based on the table width you specify in step 4.
- Specify the number of rows of the table or specify the Auto option to let the system define the number of columns based on the table height you specify in step 4.
- In the graphics area, specify the position of the table, that is the upper left corner of the table, or specify an option:
- Height. Specifies the number of text lines allowed per row.
- Width. Specifies the width of the table columns.
- TableStyle. Specifies the name of the TableStyle to apply.
If you specified the Auto option for the column and/or row specifications (see above), you are prompted to specify two opposite points to define the table extents.
- In the graphics area, specify the insertion point.
- Edit the Table title.
- Press Tab to proceed to the next table cell, or Shift+Tab to proceed to the previous table cell, then type text.
- Repeat step 7 as needed.
When you type and edit text in table cells, either the Note Formatting pop-up toolbar or the Edit Note dialog box helps you format the text entries. This behavior is determined by the setting for Note Options defined with the NoteOptions command.
- Click OK.
Use the EditTable command to enter or modify text for table cells.
