Importing Files from Other CAD Programs

Use the Import command to import drawing files created by other applications or CAD programs.

Currently the command supports only the import of ACIS SAT files (from version 1.05 to 11.00) which loads the included ACIS solid entities into the current drawing.

To import files from other CAD programs:

  1. Type Import at the command prompt.
  2. Navigate to the file to import and click Open.
