Delete

Removes one or more selected items.

You can delete any item within a part or assembly. If the item has dependent features, the Confirm Delete dialog displays. This dialog box allows you to delete all of the absorbed and child features dependent on the item, or to specify which to delete and which to leave in place. Features left dangling are listed in the FeatureManager and are highlighted by warnings and error messages.

To delete an item:

  1. Select one or more items to delete in the graphics area or in the FeatureManager design tree.
  2. Click Delete (Standard toolbar), click Edit > Delete or press Delete.

    If you delete an item that has dependent features, the Confirm Delete dialog box provides you with basic and advanced options to remove one or more selected items.
