Trim Type: Body Trim

In the Complex Corner PropertyManager, when you select a member with the Body Trim type and Trim Order as 1, the member acts as a trim tool.

In the following example, member 2 acts as a trim tool. The following table represents callouts for members:
Callout Description
1 Member1: Body Trim, trim order 2
2 Member4: Body Trim, trim order 3
3 Memebr2: Body Trim, trim order 1
4 Member3: Body Trim, trim order 2

Trim Type: Planar Trim

In the Complex Corner PropertyManager, when you select a member with the Planar Trim type, the member is trimmed by the combination of body trimmed members.

For the members with Planar Trim type, the members are trimmed based on:
  • Its trim order
  • Trim order and trim type of the remaining trim members
In the following example, member 4 is trimmed by the combination of members 1, 2, and 3. The following table represents callouts for members:
