Create a location

Location management: New location

Dockable panel > Contextual menu of the electrical project: New > Location

Dockable panel > Contextual menu of a location: New > Location

SOLIDWORKS Electrical 3D > Contextual menu of a location: Add > Location

 

1.     Select the electrical project.

2.     Click on the New location icon.

3.     The location properties dialog box opens, letting you enter information about this location.

 

To create a nested location (location dependant on another), select the principal location before clicking on the New location icon.
