Attach image

Menu: Draw > Attach image

 

Opens the first of a series of dialog boxes for linking images stored on the workstation to the active file. Once attached, previews of linked images appear in the file.

The image is not stored in the graphical file (or drawing), only the link with the image file is saved. If the image file is moved or deleted, the link is broken.

 

A dialog box opens lets you manage the attached images.

 

Attach: Allows you to attach an image file. After selecting the file, a dialog box opens to define insertion parameters.

Remove: Deletes a selected image file reference from the list and removes the display image from the active file.

 

To archive electrical projects with attached images, add the attached image files to the electrical project using the data files command.
