- Destination arrows |
The origin-destination arrows let you create a continuity link between
wires in different schematic drawings, or in the same drawing if required.
It could be for cables in line diagrams
or wires in schematics.
The origin-destination arrows generated by this command are considered
as manual origin - destination arrows.
When this command is selected, the management dialog box will be displayed.
It is divided into two parts; the first contains the Origin
(Drawing 1) schematic and the second contains the Destination
drawing (Drawing 2). You can zoom in on any part of the drawing
using your mouse wheel; this helps you ensure you select only the wires
you want to link.
At the beginning of this command, the Drawing 1, is the one that is
active in the graphical area.
The following commands are available for both Drawing 1 and Drawing
2.

|
Previous: Lets you
see the preceding drawing in the electrical project drawing list. |

|
Next: Lets you see
the next drawing in the electrical project drawing list. |

|
Selector: Allows
you to open the drawing selector to select the drawing you want. |

|
Previous drawing and next
drawing: These options allow you to scroll through the
electrical project drawings one by one, either backward (previous)
or forward (next). It will go to the previous/next drawing
for both the origin and destination drawings. |

|
Origin symbol: Lets
you select the symbol to be used to represent the origin arrow.
If you choose a bad symbol (for example a destination symbol)
a message prevents you. |

|
Destination symbol:
Lets you select the symbol to be used to represent the destination
arrow. If you choose a bad symbol (for example an origin symbol)
a message prevents you. |
Origin and destination symbols display the cross references between
wires. They have specific attributes that propagate information like the
drawing mark, the bundle mark, the row, and the column of the drawing
or the equipotential number.

|
Horizontal or Vertical Tile allows you to manage the
display mode. |
Single Insertion

|
Lets you manage a link from one wire to another wire. |
1. Click the
Single insertion icon.
2. Click at
the end of a schematic wire / cable.
3. Select the
end of another schematic wire / cable.
This will cause the arrows to be inserted and to automatically cross
references to one another.
Multiple Insertion

|
Lets you manage a link from one set of multiple wires to
another set of multiple wires. |
4. Click the
Multiple insertion icon.
5. On the origin
drawing, click on the first wire and the last wire of the starting set

6. On the destination
drawing, click on the first wire and finish with the last wire of the
terminating set of multi wires.
Auto-connect

|
Lets you automatically generate an origin-destination arrow
on 2 wires with the same mark. The origin-destination arrow is
automatically generated without needing to select a wire. |
Delete

|
Delete: Allows you
to delete an existing Origin - Destination arrow. Select the arrow
to delete it. |

|
Multiple delete:
Allows you to delete several existing Origin - Destination arrows.
Like the multiple insertion, select the first wire and the last
wire and validate the deletion. |
While deleting a link, all the constituent elements of the link (origin
