The dockable panel displays available options.

Ensures command continuity, the command remains active after insertion of a symbol.

Ends the commands after the symbol is positioned.

Ends the command.

Specify the symbol to insert

Other symbol: Opens the symbol selector where another symbol can be chosen.

Options

Manual marks: If this option is selected, the Symbol dialog box opens and the mark is automatically displayed in manual mode.

Ask for properties: If this option is not selected, the Symbol dialog box does not open and the mark is automatically calculated and applied according to the electrical project settings.

Adjust size to drawing unit: Allows to manage dimension unit conflict. For example to insert an IEC symbol into a drawing with a title block with imperial units.

1.     Click a point to insert the symbol.

Each line diagram symbol must have an outline allowing you to connect the cables. When inserting the symbol, the original outline is hidden and a new one is automatically drawn. This allows you to resize the outline.

If you modify the symbol and update it in the line diagram drawings, the outline is not updated (not to lose the connections).
