Title block management
The Title block management groups
all of the title blocks
that can be used to design the scheme. The title blocks have filtering
criteria allowing their classification.

The Title block management dialog
box opens. This allows you to add, edit, or delete title blocks.
The left-hand side of the Title block
management has two tabs.
Classification
This tab displays the title block classification in a tree.
The left side of the dialog box shows the title block classes. The right
side shows the title blocks in the selected class.
Filters
This tab allows you to filter the title blocks list. All filter criteria
are the same as those present in the title block properties.
The right side of the dialog box displays the title blocks corresponding
to the selected criteria.
Remove filters: Click
this button to remove all filter criteria.
The right-hand side of the Title block
management displays the title blocks corresponding to the selection
or search criteria you entered on the left-hand side of the Title
block management.
The title blocks are displayed in a list (List
mode icon) or as thumbnails (Thumbnail
mode icon).
Some of these features accept the multi-selection, such as Delete
or Properties.

New: Allows you
to add a new title block in
the library. |

Open: Opens
the selected title block in the graphical interface or in DraftSight
to modify it. |

Import DWG files:
Allows you to import
a DWG file as a title block. |

Delete:
Deletes the selected title blocks. |

Properties: Opens
the Properties dialog
box of the selected title blocks. If you select several title
blocks, the Properties
dialog box displays only the common properties. |

Preview: Opens the
title block in a preview dialog box. This interface does not allow
for modifications. |

Cut: Places a copy
of the selected title blocks on the SOLIDWORKS Electrical clipboard and deletes the
originals.
You can also use the shortcut: [Ctrl]
+ [X] |

Copy: Places a copy
of the selected title blocks on the SOLIDWORKS Electrical clipboard and keeps the
originals. The Copy command
can be used also to copy the selected element list to another
application such as Excel (List
mode only).
You can also use the shortcut: [Ctrl]
+ [C] |

Paste: Pastes the
title block present on the SOLIDWORKS Electrical clipboard. A new title block
is created.
You can also use the shortcut: [Ctrl]
+ [V] |

Select all: Allows
you to select all of the title blocks displayed on the right-hand
side of the Title block management. |

List mode: Displays
title blocks in the form of a list (Name, Description, classification).
In this mode, you can copy the list of the selected element to
another application, such as Excel. |

Thumbnail mode:
Displays title blocks in the form of thumbnail previews. |

Configuration: Allows
you to manage the display
settings for items in the dialog box. |

Archive:
Select the elements you want to archive and click the Archive
icon.
A dialog box opens allowing you to save the archive file. |

Unarchive: A dialog box opens
allowing you to select a TEWZIP file for unarchiving. The Update data wizard will open
automatically. Refer to the Archive / Unarchive
chapter for more information. |

Classification management: Allows
you to manage
the different classes in which the title blocks
are stored. |
Display sub-classes content:
When the box is checked, it displays all the objects contained in the
sub-class of the selected class.
Keep the dialog opened:
When this option is selected, the dialog box does not close when you open
an object.
