Insert a scheme macro
Insert the macro from the ribbon menus

When this command is used for the first time, the Macro
selector dialog opens, letting you select the macro you want to insert.
This macro is then saved, and it will be available for insertion when
you use the command the next time.
The dockable panel displays available options.

Pins the command, ensuring that the command continues to
remain active after first being used to insert a macro. |

Stops the command after it is first used to insert a symbol. |

Specify the macro to insert
Shows the last macro that was inserted. If no symbol was saved, the
macro selector opens automatically.
If you do not want to insert the presented macro, click on the Other macro button. The macro selector
opens, letting you choose another macro.
Insert a macro from the palette

1. Open the
drawing in which you want to insert the macro.
2. Drag the
macro from the dockable panel.
3. Drop it into
the graphics area.
Searching for macros
The palettes have an option to search for a specific macro. This search
is not restricted to the macro palette, but searches in the entire macro
library.
In the box, type the text you want to search and click the Find
button. All macros containing the text entered in the description field
appear in the search results.
Managing marks
When the macro is inserted, the mark management dialog box opens, allowing
you to either calculate new marks or keep the existing marks.
