Visibility Settings

As you examine the results of a plastics simulation, you can switch the visibility of domains for a clearer view of the model.

You access the visibility settings from the Plastics CommandManager. Visibility settings are available only after you create a mesh.

Visibility Commands

Cavity Visibility Shows or hides the discretized geometry, mesh, or results associated with cavity and insert domains.
Runner Visibility Shows or hides the discretized geometry, mesh, or results associated with the runner domains.
Available only with SOLIDWORKS Plastics Professional and SOLIDWORKS Plastics Premium.
Mesh Model Shows or hides the surface mesh associated with the visible domains.
Mold Visibility Shows or hides the discretized geometry, mesh, or results associated with the mold domain.
Available only with SOLIDWORKS Plastics Premium.
Transparent Model Renders transparent the discretized geometry associated with the visible domains.
Cooling Channel Visibility Shows or hides the discretized geometry, mesh, or results associated with the cooling channel domains.
Available only with SOLIDWORKS Plastics Premium.
Show/Hide Domain

Specifies the domain number of specific domains for which you want to switch their visibility.

Available only with SOLIDWORKS Plastics Professional and SOLIDWORKS Plastics Premium.
