Logging

The Logging page lets you enable logging, define the log file path, and view the log file.

The log file reports on the conversion process, such as beginning and end time, success or failure status, and what files were converted. The log file is available both in HTML (.htm) and in XML ( .xml) formats.

Command NameDescription
Perform loggingCreates a log file containing information about the translation (success, failure). To disable logging, clear this option.
Write option

Specifies how to write new log information:

  • Append to log file - Appends new information to the existing log file.
  • Overwrite log file - Deletes the existing file before writing new information.
Log file path

Defines the full path to the log file.

View log file

Specifies which format to use in order to display the current log file:

  • from HTML
    Note: Use the HTML format to view the log file in Internet Explorer 9 and later.
  • from XML

Click Open Log File.
