The
3DEXPERIENCE
platform is a business experience platform that provides transparent data and lifecycle
management. You can search, save, manage, and share files, in collaborative spaces on the
platform in the cloud.
Two product offerings,
Design
with DraftSight and DraftSight Connected, are available for DraftSight
Professional and DraftSight Premium. Both offerings provide access to all the 3DEXPERIENCE services and apps that you are entitled to use
based on your role.
Design
with DraftSight
This app lets you continue to use the DraftSight application that is
installed on your computer. When you install the app, it appears as the 3DEXPERIENCE tab in DraftSight.
This offering provides a lightweight connection between your
DraftSight application and the 3DEXPERIENCE platform. You can
manage data and lifecycle operations in the app. You can also navigate and browse to
communities and social collaborative apps.
DraftSight Connected
This offering installs a full version of the DraftSight application on your
computer from the 3DEXPERIENCE platform.
DraftSight
Connected provides access to DraftSight Mechanical capabilities based on your role.
It gives you extended capabilities on the platform. When you are
online and connected, it gives you the flexibility to work anywhere and at any
time.
DraftSight Professional
This app contains the same DWG capabilities of the individual
DraftSight Professional, but it adds online collaborations on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform. It is installed, launched, and licensed from the 3DEXPERIENCE
platform.
