Managing Drawing Sheet Subsets

The Drawing Sheet List tab of the Sheet Set Manager palette lets you define drawing sheet subsets.

You can organize your drawing sheets using the options provided in the context menu. The available options vary according to the item that you select in the tree view.

You can do the following:

  • Create a subset or remove an existing subset
  • Rename a subset
Use the SheetSet command to display the Sheet Set Manager palette.

To manage drawing sheet subsets:

  1. To create a subset:
    1. On the Sheet Set Manager, right-click the drawing sheet set or a subset and select New Subset from the context menu.
    2. In the Subset Properties dialog box, in Subset Name, specify the name of the subset.
    3. Click OK.
      The subset appears in the Drawing Sheet List. You can drag a subset anywhere within the drawing sheet set, even under another subset.
  2. To remove a subset:
    1. On the Sheet Set Manager, right-click a subset and select Rename Subset from the context menu.
    2. In the Subset Properties dialog box, in Subset Name, specify the new name of the subset
    3. Click OK.
  3. To rename a subset:
    1. On the Sheet Set Manager, right-click a subset and select Rename Subset.
    2. In the Subset Properties dialog box, in Subset Name, specify the new name of the subset.
    3. Click OK.
