Displaying the Status of the Current Drawing

The GetStatus command displays status information about settings and memory usage of the current drawing including the:

  • Number of entities in the drawing
  • Model bounding area
  • Base point for insertion
  • Snap resolution and grid spacing
  • Area of the drawing shown in the display (expressed by the coordinate values in the lower left and upper right corners)
  • Active Mode (either Model mode or Sheet mode), and the active Model or Sheet tab
  • Active Layer, LineColor, LineStyle, Material, and LineWeight
  • Current settings for elevation, thickness, fill mode, snap and grid status, orthogonal mode, and boxed text mode
  • Free temporary disk space, free physical memory, total physical memory, free swap file space, and total swap file space
