Displaying the Status of the Current Drawing

The GetStatus command displays status information about settings and memory usage of the current drawing including the:

Number of entities in the drawing
Model bounding area
Base point for insertion
Snap resolution and grid spacing
Area of the drawing shown in the display (expressed by the coordinate values in the lower left and upper right corners)
Active Mode (either Model mode or Sheet mode), and the active Model or Sheet tab
Active Layer, LineColor, LineStyle, Material, and LineWeight
Current settings for elevation, thickness, fill mode, snap and grid status, orthogonal mode, and boxed text mode
Free temporary disk space, free physical memory, total physical memory, free swap file space, and total swap file space
