Getting Started

To open a new or existing model:

Click New or Open on the menu bar or the CommandManager.

To access the SOLIDWORKS menus:

Hover over the SOLIDWORKS logo in the menu bar.

In the Welcome dialog box, on the Home tab, you can access the following resources:

You can open the Welcome dialog box by clicking Welcome to SOLIDWORKS (Standard toolbar).
