You can
group and renumber characteristics, such as 2.1, 2.2, and so on, based on the original
number.
To group
characteristics:

In the Table Manager, on the Characteristics tab, Ctrl+select
multiple rows.

Right-click
a
selected row,
click
Grouping,
and then click
one of the following:
- Group. Renumbers
the characteristics and balloons to create subballoons. For example,
grouping balloons 13, 14, and 15 creates characteristics and balloons 13.1,
13.2, and 13.3.
- Group with share
balloon. Renumbers the characteristics and creates one
balloon number for all of the selected characteristics. For example,
grouping balloons 13, 14, and 15 creates characteristic numbers 13.1, 13.2,
and 13.3 and one balloon number 13 for all three characteristics.
To ungroup characteristics, right-click the grouped rows and
click UnGroup.
