Application Programming Interface

SOLIDWORKS Inspection functionality is available through the Application Programming Interface (API).

You can use the API to:

Automatically open SOLIDWORKS files
Create inspection projects
Export First Article Inspection (FAI) reports
Balloon drawings
Invoke any feature available in the user interface
