Depending on your access to the appropriate 3DEXPERIENCE role, you can save simulation results locally or on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform. Simulation results (*.cwr) files are saved on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform along with the associated SOLIDWORKS model. When you
save a SOLIDWORKS model in a collaborative space on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, you can open it directly in SOLIDWORKS and view the
associative simulation results that you saved on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform.
When SOLIDWORKS Connected is in Offline mode, you can only save simulation
results locally. To save simulation results on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, return to Online mode. For more information, see Offline Mode for SOLIDWORKS
Connected.
The following table lists the SOLIDWORKS Simulation studies that you
can run depending on your active
3D3DEXPERIENCE role.
