Creating a Collaborative Space

You save files to the 3DEXPERIENCE platform in a storage area known as a collaborative space. You must have access to a collaborative space before you can work with the 3DEXPERIENCE platform.

To create a collaborative space in the 3DEXPERIENCE platform:

  1. Log in to the 3DEXPERIENCE platform.
  2. On the top bar of the 3DDashboard, click the Compass .
  3. Under Me, click 3DSpace.

  4. In the 3DSpace app, click My Collaborative Spaces > New Collaborative Space.
  5. Specify:
    • Title
    • Description
    • Visibility
    • Family
  6. Click Create.
