tolerance-based machining only uses dimensional tolerances for the Machine to Mean value
of a feature. It no longer uses positional tolerances to calculate the Machine to Mean
value.
When a feature
includes asymmetrical tolerances, the tolerance allowance automatically calculates to
the Maximum Material Condition. Positional tolerances are not used because they can
overcut or undercut a feature.
