You can view models in hidden lines visible (HLV) and wireframe modes. The tooltip for Wireframe has changed to Hidden Lines Removed (HLR).

Click Display Style (Heads-up View toolbar) and select Hidden Lines Visible , Hidden Lines Removed , or Wireframe .

Search 'Display Styles' in the SOLIDWORKS Knowledge Base.
