Saving and Restoring Settings

You can save your current settings before starting a lesson so you can restore the original settings later.

You can only restore settings if you saved them before completing a lesson.

Follow these instructions to run the SOLIDWORKS Settings Wizard without closing the SOLIDWORKS software. You can run the SOLIDWORKS Settings Wizard after you close the SOLIDWORKS software by clicking Start > All Programs > SOLIDWORKS <version> > SOLIDWORKS Tools > SOLIDWORKS Settings Wizard

To save or restore settings before changing the settings for the tutorial:

Expand the Options flyout (Standard toolbar) and select Save/Restore Settings.
Follow the instructions in the SOLIDWORKS Settings Wizard.

Search 'Saving and Restoring Settings' in the SOLIDWORKS Knowledge Base.
