Creating and Saving a Part Document

You can open a new part document and save it as Tutor1.

1. Click New (Standard toolbar).
2. In the New SOLIDWORKS Document dialog box, double-click Part.

   For more information, see User Interface Overview.

3. Click Save (Standard toolbar).
4. In the dialog box, type Tutor1 for File name.
5. Click Save.
