First you open the drawing template.

Click New
on the Standard toolbar.

In the Advanced version of
the dialog box, on the Templates tab, click
Drawing.
You are in the Advanced version of the dialog box if the button in the
lower-left corner of the dialog box says Novice.

Click
OK.

In the Sheet Format/Size
dialog box, under Standard sheet size,
select A (ANSI) Landscape and click
OK.

If required, in the PropertyManager, click
because you do not want to
insert a view into the drawing.
