Classification management
The Classifications allow you to define the groups (classes and sub-classes)
in which electrical elements are stored. Generally, they are sorted by
their electrical function or by common characteristics.
The Classification management
is common to several types of electrical elements:
- Components (Symbols
and manufacturer parts use the same Classification)
- Cable references
- Macros
- Title blocks
The features can be different according to the Classification you want
to manage. For example, on the Components, you can manage User data, associate
3D part, and 2D footprint but not on Title block classifications.
In each Classification, you
can find Classes and Sub-classes.
You can find two types of classes; the System
classes which cannot be deleted and the User
classes which can be managed (created, edited and deleted) by the
user.
