General Parameters PropertyManager

The general parameters apply to the entire injection molding process and environment, not to a specific injection unit.

To open the General Parameters PropertyManager:

In the PlasticsManager, expand Global Parameters , and double-click General .

General

Clamp Force Limit

Specifies the maximum allowable force required to keep the mold closed. If the force reaches the Clamp Force Limit value, a warning appears in the Analysis Manager, and the analysis continues.

You can adjust the default Clamp Force Limit according to the capacity of your machine.

Ambient Temperature (°C)

Specifies the temperature of the air that surrounds the ejected part while cooling.
