Aligning Actors

You can position geometry actors in your models using alignment tools.

Align Commands
  1. Click an alignment tool, for example Transform > Align Point to Point .

    Note: You can activate other alignment tools.

  2. Click the feature (line, plane, and so on) you want to align.

    Note: Features are highlighted in red as you hover over the scene.

  3. Click the feature you want to align to.
    Notes:
    • Alignment commands move actors but do not permanently attach (mate) them.
    • If an alignment is opposite of what you intended, press Shift when selecting the second actor.
