Editing Hole Tables

From the hole table, you can reposition holes by changing their coordinates.

  1. Click Mechanical Toolbox > Holes > Table Edit or click Edit Hole Table (Mechanical Toolbox toolbar).
  2. In the graphics area, click the header of the table to edit.
  3. In the Command window, at the Specify option prompt, type one of the following options and press Enter:
    Option Description
    Edit Lets you modify the location of a specific hole in the table.

    When you press Enter, you are prompted to specify the table reference of the hole you want to move.

    Recreate Lets you choose a different set of holes for the table.

    When you press Enter, the original table is removed. Select new holes to list in a hole table, press Enter, and click in the graphics area to place the recreated table.

    When you choose new hole table settings, you are prompted to recreate existing hole tables.

    Delete Deletes the table.

    When you press Enter, the entire table is deleted, plus the origin symbol and labels.

  4. In the table, click the row to edit.
  5. In the Toolbox - Hole Table Location Modification dialog box, do one of the following:
    • Type new coordinates for the hole and click OK.

      The dialog box closes and the hole moves to the location you specified.

    • Click Specify location Toolbox_edit_hole_table_specify_loc.

      The dialog box closes and you specify the new location of the hole using the tracker.

      When you click in the graphics area to place the hole, the dialog box reopens and lists the new coordinates.

      You can continue modifying the location by changing coordinates or clicking Specify location Toolbox_edit_hole_table_specify_loc again.

    When you are satisfied with the hole location, click OK to close the dialog box.
  6. To modify the location of another hole, repeat steps 4 and 5.
  7. To stop modifying hole locations, press Esc.
