Use the Custom Property Definition
		dialog box to create or modify a component custom property.
		
			
			To open this dialog box:
			On the Customize Hardware page,
				click Add new Custom
					Property .

		Property Name
			
			Specifies the name of the property. The name appears in the
				PropertyManager when you use the component in an assembly.
		Options
			
			
			
						
							| Add as configuration
									specific property | Creates a configuration-specific
								property. If cleared, the property is a custom property (not
								configuration-specific), as shown on the Custom tab of the SOLIDWORKS Properties dialog
								box. | 
						
							| Each value for this
									property requires a new configuration name | Creates a new configuration name
								for each unique value of the property. For
									Textbox properties, the property value is
								added as a suffix to the configuration name. For
									List properties,
								enter
								a suffix for each list value under
								Suffix. | 
						
							| Show in
									PropertyManager | Displays the property in the
								component's PropertyManager in SOLIDWORKS. Selecting or clearing
									Add as configuration specific property
								automatically selects or clears this option, but you can override
								the default. |

							| Textbox | Creates a text field
								property. | 
						
							| List | Creates a property with a list of
								values. | 
						
							| Link to SW
									material | List
								properties only. Creates a list of materials using the SOLIDWORKS
								Materials library. You can link only one property
									to SOLIDWORKS materials. |

							| Value | Specifies an item in the

							| Suffix | Available when Each
									value for this property requires a new configuration
									name is selected. Specifies the configuration name
								suffix. Type an optional separator character and a suffix that
								identifies the property value. For example, if the value is
								ABSplastic, type: -abs When you select the custom property, the suffix
									is used in the configuration name. | 
						
							| Material | Available when Link to
									SW material is selected. Specifies materials from
								the SOLIDWORKS Materials library. Click
									Select and select a material from the
								list. | 
						
							|  | Deletes a value from the
