Terminal Type Management

The Terminal types are specific symbols used in the terminal strip drawing. For each terminal inserted in the scheme, you can associate a terminal type inserted in the terminal strip drawing. The Terminal types are associated with the symbols and the manufacturer parts.

The terminal type symbols are grouped in a Management dialog box where you can add or edit the terminal type symbols.

To access Terminal type management, click Library > Terminal type management . The Management dialog box opens and displays the following options:

Option	Description
	New. Lets you add a new terminal type to the library.
	Delete. Deletes the selected Terminal types.
	Properties. Opens the Properties dialog box of the selected terminal type. If you select several terminal types, the Properties dialog box displays only the common properties.
	List mode. Displays terminal types in a list (code, description, dates, and symbol name).
	Thumbnail mode. Displays terminal types as thumbnail previews.
	Configuration. Lets you manage the display settings for items in the dialog box.
	Archive. Select the elements that you want to archive and click the Archive icon. A dialog box opens allowing you to save the archived file.
	Unarchive. A file selection dialog box opens where a TEWZIP file can be selected for unarchiving. The update data wizard will open automatically. Refer to the Archive / Unarchive chapter for more information.
