Customizing Blocks Behavior and Appearance

You can define rules and constraints for Block definitions to control the Block reference behavior and appearance in a drawings. Blocks that have these rules and constraints are named CustomBlocks.

Working with Constraints

Use Constraints to control drawing entities parametrically. Constraints specify geometric and dimensional properties of entities. Applying Constraints forces geometric assemblies to modify their shapes and positions. Constraints let you maintain design intent and improve the consistency of drawings.

3D Modeling

This chapter introduces you to creating 3D solid objects. To create more complex 3D solid objects you can edit solids by using Boolean operations. This chapter further describes commands to edit and inquire 3D solid objects.

Working with Drawing Sheet Sets

You can organize drawing sheets into drawing sheet sets to manage and publish them as a unit.

Import and Export Tools

You can import stereolithography files (STL).

Working with Tool Palettes

Use tool palettes to better organize a large amount of tools.
