Adding the Policy Manually To add the policy manually: From the Windows Start menu, click SOLIDWORKS PDM > Administration to open the Administration tool. Under Local settings, right-click Group Policies, then click Open. In the Group Policy dialog box, under User Configuration, right-click Administrative Templates, then select Add/Remove Templates. In the Add/Remove Templates dialog box, click Add. In the Policy Templates dialog box, navigate to \SWPDMClient\Support\Policies\PDMWorks Enterprise.ADM on the SOLIDWORKS DVD and click Open.The SOLIDWORKS PDM Settings policy options appear under Administrative Templates > Classic Administrative Templates (ADM).
