CircuitWorks can communicate with ECAD designers through desktop
collaboration where it writes .idx baseline or
change files to a shared folder. CircuitWorks monitors the shared folder for incoming
.idx change or response files from ECAD
designers.
The 3DEXPERIENCE® platform stores all data as 3DEXPERIENCE electronic parts and assemblies. The .idx file exchange occurs through the 3DEXPERIENCE task web services. ECAD and MCAD use these web services to
exchange .idx files. You can push or pull tasks in
the 3DEXPERIENCE Collaborative Tasks
app. The Push and Pull
tools also let you send and receive .idx 3 files
from ECAD.
