Circles

You can sketch the following circle types:

Circle type Tool Circle properties
Circle Tool_Circle_Sketch.gif Sketches center-based circles.
Perimeter Circle Tool_Perimeter_Circle_Sketch.gif Sketches perimeter-based circles.
The SOLIDWORKS application defaults to the last used circle type.

To access the circle tools:

  • Sketch tab. Click the Sketch CommandManager to select circle tools from the Circle Tool_Perimeter_Circle_Sketch.gif flyout tool.
  • Menu. Click Tools > Sketch Entities to select circle tools.
  • Circle PropertyManager. Change to different circle tools from the Circle PropertyManager.
