Corner Management

In the Corner Management PropertyManager, the software groups corners according to the number of members that meet at a point and joint type. You can identify the types of corners by the color coding in the graphics area.

The three types of corners you can manage are:

Corner type Description
Simple The position where the ends of two members meet, and the segments are collinear.
Two member The position where two members intersect.
Complex The position where three or more members intersect.

Trim options let you modify and adjust joints between structural members. For models with two corners and complex corners, you can assign a member as a trim tool and use it to add or remove material from adjacent members.
