The
Welcome app provides easy access to key apps, learning content, communities and forums, and
sample content.
You can access all these resources from the Welcome page:
- Apps
Lists design apps available for your roles and apps to manage your work and
collaborate with your team. You can quickly install, open, or update an app
to a newer version if available.
- Learning Center
Provides links to videos and tutorials on how to install
SOLIDWORKS Connected, navigate the 3DEXPERIENCE
platform, start designing, and use basic and advanced features.
- Public Communities
Provides links to communities and forums where you can ask
questions and share experiences with other SOLIDWORKS users.
- Sample Content
Provides models that you can drop into
xApps,
such as xDesign, xFrame, and so on, and start work.
In the upper-right corner of the app, click Welcome Tour to watch a short video to help get you started.
To reopen the Welcome app,
