You can control derived configurations in a design table.
The column header in a design table for controlling derived
configurations uses this syntax:
$PARENT
The column header is not
case-sensitive.
In the table body cells,
enter
the parent configuration names.
You cannot specify a parent configuration in a design table if its child
configuration
is
created first, unless the parent configuration already existed in the model.
Example:
|
|
Valid: Parent created before
derived configuration |
Invalid: Parent created after
derived configuration |
|
You can also
add derived configurations using the Modify Configurations dialog box or
manually in the
ConfigurationManager.
