You can use Toolbox components and save the assemblies that refer to them
in the 3DEXPERIENCE platform.
You can use these
components even when
youhave
not installed the
Toolbox
library.
You must have logged in to a common collaborative space.
The components are available to the users,
only
if the following settings are defined in SOLIDWORKS.
-
Navigate to
Hole Wizard/ Toolbox > User Settings.
-
Create Parts option is
selected by default.
- In Design with SOLIDWORKS, Create Configurations and Create Parts on Ctrl-Drag are
available. Do not choose these options.
- In SOLIDWORKS Connected, only Create Parts is available.
The
Create parts in this
folder field specifies the location where parts are
created.
Do not change the path
settings in this field.
For each toolbox component, an individual physical product is created and
saved in a collaborative space. The toolbox physical products are in
the
Released maturity
state.
The collaborative space and the maturity state can be
different, based on the values defined by the
Administrator.
