Axes

Axes settings specify the type of measurement axes in the CMM output file for CMM Data Import.

To display this dialog box:

  1. In the CMM Data Import pane, click Settings .
  2. In the Settings dialog box, select a template and click Edit
  3. In the CMM Template Editor dialog box, click Axes.
Axes For each measurement type, enter an axis identification, exactly as it appears in the CMM output file.

For example, the diameter of a feature is DF. For Diameter, enter DF.

If there is more than one axis for a measurement type, separate each axis with a comma. Do not add a space after the comma.
Axes Post Delim. Lists the characters to eliminate from the files found after the axis identification.
Trim Axis Lines Removes spaces in the file before the axis identification.
