In the
Export to Excel tab in the Properties/Preferences PropertyManager, you can specify options when
exporting inspection projects to Microsoft®
Excel®.
To access the Export to Excel
tab, click Excel

Templates
Select a template to use for the Microsoft Excel inspection
report.

Removes a template from the list
of available report templates. Removing a report
template only removes the template from the list of available
report templates. It does not delete the template.

Include Document Snapshots
You can include captures, views, drawing sheets, and snapshots of
files in a Microsoft Excel inspection report. You can manually create additional
snapshots of CAD documents.

Captures |
Includes model based definition
screen captures in the
PDF.
Not available for 2D drawings. In the table, you
can select individual screen captures to publish.

Includes views in the
PDF.
For 3D models, you can select one of the existing model views to
include. Not available for 2D drawings. In the
table, you can select individual views to publish.

Take
user defined snapshot |
Takes a screen capture of the
current model or drawing and adds it to the table. Whatever appears
in the graphics area at the time of capture is shown. When you take
the snapshot, the Microsoft Excel sheet name matches the 'user
specified name of the capture, file name'. For
PDF files, you can
only include a snapshot of the entire
sheet.
For
DWG files, you can create a user
defined capture.

Imaging
You can export the image captures associated with each extracted
requirement in an inspection project to inspection reports. When you include image
captures in reports (see Map Tokens to Reports), you can modify the way the
images display.

Fit
image to cell |
Keeps exported image captures
within the cell size of the report template. Specify the Contrast,
which changes the exported image contrast in inspection reports.
This makes the exported images lighter (1) or darker (4).

Fit
cell to image |
Forces the exported image
captures to fit the cell Height or Width in the report template. Select Apply Zoom % and
specify a value to resize exported image captures in inspection
reports. For example, to reduce the size of images in reports,
enter a lower number such as 80% instead of 125%.

Measurements
The Measurements section is available if you select
Measurements Input and CMM Data Import in General options.
You can enter inspection results directly in an inspection project and export them to
create a full inspection report.
You can select the results to export if you do not need all of them in the final
report.

Exports all of the results to the report. |
Results |
Exports
a combination
of
specified results. For example, 1-5,8,10 exports the results numbers 1, 2, 3,
4, 5, 8, and 10 to the report.
